Wren Laboratories is a successful, family-run business that have been serving our customers since 2004. Based in Andover, Hampshire we produce a range of health supplements for the UK’s leading probiotics company called ‘Optibac Probiotics’. The range is sold in the UK, Ireland and many export markets via multiple different sales channels including pharmacies, health food stores, grocery, direct to consumer website, online retailers and marketplaces.

Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for a highly skilled and detail-orientated Commercial Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for providing financial insights, leading Sales and Gross Margin Forecasts, and analysing financial data to drive commercial activities and business growth.

Commercial Finance Manager, the role:

• Revenue - pricing strategies, margin management and revenue forecasting
• Category Management - overseeing performance, preparing analysis, and ensuring customer and supplier rebates are accurately reflected in the P&L
• Reporting - accurate and timely revenue recognition and prepare and present regular financial reports to Senior Management
• Business partnering – working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align financial strategies with business initiatives
• Data analysis - providing insights into Revenue and Margin performance, market trends and economic conditions 
• Inventory – supporting management of inventory balances 
• Optimisation – overlooking financial strategies and processes that drive revenue growth

Commercial Finance Manager, the person:

• CIMA qualified or in-depth experience in a similar role
• Strong background in finance and commercial acumen 
• Excellent analytical abilities and a proven track record of delivering impactful financial solutions 
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
• Knowledge of stakeholder management across multiple levels of seniority
• Ambitious and focused on results with positive but professional attitude
• Working well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and influential 
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

Commercial Finance Manager, the benefits:
